Career Mentoring Program

eduimages20060422_0061
Aligned Impact Muscatine’s Adult Education and Training strategy group has been hard at work designing a pilot Career Mentoring program.

We are currently recruiting passionate volunteers to help us get this program off the ground. This program is a great opportunity for community members to volunteer as a trusted guide to an individual who needs help achieving their education and career goals. Career mentors will work with a community member that is a client of Muscatine Center for Social Action (MCSA) or a current Muscatine Community College (MCC) HiSET student.

This program could be a game changer in someone’s life. Mentees will benefit from having the support and guidance to help them solve problems, reach their goals, and develop supportive relationships. The mentors will also benefit by utilizing their own experiences to help others, widen their understanding of our community, and have the personal satisfaction of helping a member of our community.

Details about this exciting new volunteer opportunity are below. If you are interested in volunteering with an MCSA client contact 563-264-3278. If you are interested in volunteering with an MCC HiSET student contact Jason Walker at [email protected] or 563-288-6166.
