Claudia is a first-generation college graduate from the University of Iowa. She has years of experience helping students apply for college, complete the FASFA, and obtain scholarships. This is her 3rd summer as a Summer Melt Mentor. Claudia also works at MCC as an Advisor. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Becky is a 21 year veteran teacher who has spent the past six years teaching English at Muscatine High School. This is her first summer working with Summer Melt, but she has always made post-secondary preparation part of her English 12 classroom curriculum. She is passionate about helping students reach their big goals, despite any obstacles they may face.
